Since 1923 BPW/NM has been dedicated to improving the status of working women. Our membership is diverse, ranging from recent high school graduates to retirees who come from varied backgrounds, professions, education, race, and socio-economic levels. We count as our members women in all positions: judges, corporate executive officers, bankers, lawyers, teachers, accountants, insurance agents, financial planners, human resource managers, business owners, coaches and artists.

The executive committee of BPW/New Mexico has adopted a resolution protesting the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Inc. This resolution urges Congress to redress the unjust interpretation placed on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Click here to view the resolution.

Summary of BPW/New Mexico State Conference: April 25-26, 2008 -- Raton
The 2008 annual state conference featured the 2008-2009 Young Careerist program, coordinated by BPW/USA National Young Careerist, Trish McKeen (Albuquerque). The BPW/NM 2008-2009 Young Careerist is:
